
Pool Maintenance Technician
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of swimming pools, spas, and surrounding areas.
• Clean and maintain pool filters, pumps, and other equipment to ensure proper functioning.
• Test and balance pool water chemistry (pH, chlorine, alkalinity) to ensure it meets safety and health standards.
• Inspect pool areas for safety hazards and report any issues to management.
• Ensure proper operation of pool heating, filtration, and circulation systems.
• Check and maintain pool equipment, including ladders, skimmers, and diving boards, ensuring they are safe and functional.
• Empty pool skimmers and baskets, and remove debris from pool surfaces and surrounding areas.
• Perform regular inspections and identify potential issues such as leaks or equipment failures.
• Respond promptly to service calls for emergency pool repairs or equipment malfunctions.
• Maintain accurate service records, including maintenance performed, chemical levels, and equipment inspections.
• Advise management on needed repairs or replacement of pool equipment and systems.
• Comply with all health and safety regulations, including proper chemical handling and storage.
REQUIREMENTS
High School Diploma or GED (Required)
Ability to work well independently as well as on a team
Basic computer proficiency, including the ability to use email and the internet
Must be able to lift at least 25 lbs.
